Our Hand Made/Hand Painted Papier Machie items are made from recycled paper products,old sacking,rice flour,old newspapers even tiny branches. All re-usable sources that are made into a pliable pulp, put on a pre made mould of clay or wood. The very long process of Text drying,cutting the desired shape,sanding,various applications of colour design,sun drying again until the final item appears, be it a decorative box, a rabbit or a Christmas bauble. This artform's manufacturing methods haven't changed since our ancestors were creating many beautiful artwork for the Mughal Emperors in the 16th17th Century
